Doeikzelf
Independent demonstrator · 2026
Turning guided self-build expertise into a customer journey that sells, supports and stays useful long after handover.
Context
Guided self-build companies sell more than materials. They sell the confidence to take on a complex project with expert support at the moments that matter. Yet that expertise is often fragmented. A commercial website explains the offer, an intake arrives without enough context, drawings, videos and answers live in separate places, and after handover maintenance and service start again from scratch. The challenge was to turn this scattered expertise into one connected system, without flattening the technical detail or replacing human guidance with automation.
The shift
Doeikzelf is a digital growth and service concept for companies that offer guided self-build solutions. It connects how a company is found, how it explains its value, how it qualifies a lead, how it guides a customer through delivery and how it stays useful after completion. The shift is not from an old website to a new one. It is from a set of disconnected touchpoints to one relationship that compounds over time, and the model stays sector-flexible across pools, charging solutions, climate systems and other technical projects.
What we made
- Commercial website. Pages that make the value of guidance visible, rather than simply listing products or packages.
- Lead magnets and project intake. Guided tools that help a prospect clarify their situation, timing and level of self-reliance before the first conversation.
- SEO and GEO content. Useful, crawlable content around the real questions prospects ask before, during and after a project.
- Personal project portal. A phase-based customer workspace for checklists, documents, videos, technical control points and contextual questions.
- Care and service after handover. A project dossier that evolves into maintenance, relevant product recommendations and service requests with installation context already attached.
The first demonstrator: DHZ Zwembad
To make the model tangible, we applied it to a guided self-build pool journey. The demonstrator starts with public orientation and a visual configuration experience, then moves into My Pool Project, a personal build guide with active phases, next actions, checklists, documents, video guidance and a route to human help. After completion, the same context becomes a care and service environment for seasonal maintenance, products and technical support.
This is an independent demonstrator built around a real self-build ambition. It is not a public partner case, it contains no performance claims and it does not represent a production pricing, login or service-planning system.
The prototype makes the connection between commercial growth and operational support visible. The configuration experience is not an isolated conversion tool, the portal is not a document repository and maintenance is not an unrelated upsell. Each layer is part of the same customer relationship.
